Your health and well-being and that of our community and staff is our top priority. We have therefore altered our methods for delivery of care to keep you safe during your visits or you may choose telehealth.
Daily screening for staff and clients.
Mandatory masks and social distancing.
Enhanced and more frequent cleaning of surfaces.
Hand sanitizer located in multiple locations in our office.
If you have any of these symptoms please stay home: Fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. If you believe you have symptoms of coronavirus, please call your primary care doctor.
New Morning Shelter Update:
Despite the hardships of COVID-19, New Morning Shelter is keeping its doors open and will continue to welcome new intakes. As an agency, we are taking all of the necessary, state-mandated precautions advised in order to keep our youth and staff-team safe during this time.
Screenings will be conducted during each client intake, including initial temperature screenings and thorough recent-symptom reviews. New Morning Shelter is available at no cost to ALL youth between the ages of 6-17 experiencing homelessness or who just need a safe place to stay temporarily.
