New Morning Youth and Family Services (NMYFS) is a behavioral health organization specializing in providing treatment and support to the children of El Dorado County, CA. Since its founding in 1970, NMYFS has provided clinical counseling services to youth and families, victims of crime, foster youth, Latino/Spanish speaking families, substance use clients, and runaway/homeless children. Youth Behavior Specialists at the Ashby House
The YBS provides direct supervision to the children and youth placed at the Ashby House. In charge of making the house a home, the YBS will establish and model healthy relationships, ensure the safety of each placement, assist in providing reports and status to the social worker, probation officer, and parents, and doing whatever needs to be done., Sometimes this job will require preparing meals, cleaning the house, documenting progress, and taking the kids on outings. Itā€™s a rewarding and challenging job that will literally change lives for the better.
