Child and Teen Counseling

The New Morning Youth and Family Services’ clinic offers a wide range of services for individual children and teens, as well as their families. Our goal is to ensure that children are safe, healthy, at home, in school, and out of trouble.

School-based Counseling Services

New Morning Youth and Family Services partners with many schools and agencies county-wide, placing licensed therapists and supervised interns on-site at their facilities where their services may be most accessible. Our counselors may be found at schools in the Black Oak Mine, Camino, El Dorado, as well as the El Dorado County Juvenile Hall, and the Indian Education Alliance.

Shelter-based Therapy

Youth Behavioral Specialists are available 24 hours a day to talk with Shelter residents, de-escalate parent-child conflicts, and field phone calls from both pubic and private agencies. Our Shelter accepts youth for drop-in and overnight services.  Please click
